ABOUT US
Prepared Performance Sports Academy was created and designed by Derrick Ford to improve players and coaches through a unique system of training and methodology. Ford, a graduate of Arizona State University, has played football in four countries, two continents, and several states. Now a teacher, Ford is melding his career as an educator with his football experience to benefit others.
The combination of Ford’s ten plus years of collegiate and professional playing time, strategic insight, and his ability to command a crowd is translated into simplified yet technical instruction for players of any level. Assisted by the PPS Academy Consultants, Ford has combined a wealth of knowledge with new teaching methodology.
PPSA has proven what makes an elite performer is not limited to athletic talent. Analytical understanding, situational decision-making, and body awareness propel the average athlete to higher levels. The greatest advantage in sports is possessing the knowledge to prevent hesitation and second guesses.
